Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information SCMon collects when you use our website, API and alert service (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account data — your email and authentication credentials (passwords are hashed; we never store them in plaintext).
- Configuration data — the wallet addresses you choose to watch, your rules, and your alert destinations (e.g. webhook URLs, Telegram/Slack/WhatsApp identifiers).
- Billing data — your credit balance, deposit transactions and usage ledger. Deposits are made in cryptocurrency; we do not collect card details.
- Technical data — IP addresses, API-key usage and basic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
What we do not collect
We never collect or store your private keys, seed phrases or signatures. The blockchain addresses you watch are public on-chain data; we observe them but do not control them.
How we use it
- To run the Service — match on-chain activity and deliver your alerts.
- To meter usage and manage your prepaid credits.
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and debug issues.
- To contact you about your account or important changes.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with infrastructure providers that help us run the Service (for example, our hosting and edge-network providers), and where required by law. When you configure an alert destination, the relevant alert content is necessarily sent to that destination (your webhook, Telegram chat, etc.).
Retention
We keep account, configuration and billing data for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations. Operational logs are retained for a limited period.
Security
We apply layered protections including encryption in transit and at rest, strict tenant isolation, per-key IP allowlisting and edge-level access controls. See our security overview for details.
Your choices
You can update or delete your watches and alert destinations at any time, and you can request deletion of your account. Some records may be retained where required by law.
Changes
We may update this Policy; material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
